Welcome to OJJDP @ 35: A Juvenile Justice Conversation

This unique forum focuses on the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)—how it has carried out its mission and where it goes from here.

A panel of six former OJJDP administrators will engage in a frank discussion about their tenures: John Rector, Ira Schwartz, Al Regnery, Verne Speirs, Bob Sweet and Shay Bilchik. (Former Administrator J. Robert Flores has been invited.) Also in attendance will be key practitioners, advocates and researchers from the juvenile justice field, who will join the discussion, moderated by Youth Today Editor Patrick Boyle.

When: Nov. 10, 2009, from 1 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reception to follow.

Where: Sumner School, 1201 17th Street NW, (at M St.), Washington, D.C.

Metro: Farragut North on the Red line, McPherson Square on the Orange line. Several parking garages are located nearby.

Unfortunately, space is limited. Check back often for updates to these pages and to participate in the discussion leading up to the event.
