Former Federal Juvenile Justice Administrators to Gather in Washington on Nov. 10, 2009.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 2, 2009 — Six of the seven living former administrators of the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) will participate in an unprecedented forum on Nov. 10 to discuss how the agency has carried out its mission, spent over a billion dollars and where it should go in the future.

You’re Cordially Invited To … OJJDP @ 35: Exploring the Past to Guide the Future

What: A forum to discuss how the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has carried out its mission.

Who: A panel of six former OJJDP administrators: John Rector, Ira Schwartz, Al Regnery, Verne Speirs, Bob Sweet and Shay Bilchik; and 125 attendees, including key practitioners, advocates and researchers from the juvenile justice field who will join the discussion.

When: Nov. 10, 2009, from 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Reception immediately following at the nearby Beacon Bar & Grill.

Where: Sumner School, 1201 17th Street NW, (at M St.), Washington, D.C.
Metro: Farragut North on the Red line, McPherson Square on the Orange line. Several parking garages are located nearby.
